LITTLE YELLOW BIRD.

top: dotti
cardigan: cotton on
leggings: river island
shoes: i love billy (old)
necklace: diva
satchel: asos

Not done much today but I feel like I've been running around like a headless chook.I decided to take a full length picture of this outfit. Admittedly I wasn't wearing shoes in my other ones. I usually wear either these flats or my military boots as I'm not much of a shoe person. Ironic as I actually work in a shoe store! The shoes are old and really (really!) smelly but I just can't bear to part with them as I haven't been able to find a pair replace them with.

I picked up this cardigan in Cotton On at the start of an unusually cold Autumn as I needed something for the days when it's chilly in the morning but warms up during the day. It doesn't show too well in the photos but it's batwinged - a style that I really really like. I threw it over this print top that I picked up in Dotti when I bought my biker jacket. I don't have alot of prints in my wardrobe (two, in total) but was instantly drawn to the bird print. I saw a necklace that would have gone perfectly with this outfit - a long chain with a bird pendant - but it must have sold out as I haven't been able to find it. On second thoughts, it may have been a bit matchy matchy. Oh well. I threw on this peace sign necklace as I feel strangely naked without one.

I bought the satchel from ASOS last year and never got around to using it - funny that! I dug it out  recently and it's been promoted to my everyday bag. The only thing that I dislike about it is that it's just that tiny bit too small for magazines and textbooks.

NOTHING TOO FANCY.

jacket: dotti
top: witchery
skirt: asos
tights: ambra
necklace: sportsgirl
nails: essie 'lilacism' and sportsgirl 'all that glitters'

Nothing too fancy today. A few of my favourite staple pieces thrown together to create a warm, layered look, plus my biker jacket creates an instant comfortable yet cool outfit. I’ll probably add a scarf as I head out as it's meant to be a chilly night tonight.

MINT.

jumper: sportsgirl
tank: general pants
jacket: dotti
leggings: river island
necklace: sportsgirl

I bought this jacket a week ago and I haven't taken it off since. It's the perfect leather jacket for me as I feel cropped jackets suit my body type and are generally more flattering on me. Pastels have really grown on me so when I saw this jumper I practically ran to the till. The girl in the store said it had been popular and I'm not surprised at all, it's so comfortable and is thick but not too thick so will be great as a layering piece through winter. I'm usually a XS/S but grabbed a M in this as I like knits slightly over sized - to allow for layering and because I just don't feel comfortable in clothes that cling to me.

These leggings are the absolute best leggings around. Why? Because after numerous washes they have retained their colour and look as good as they did when I bought them. I've been disappointed with other leggings that lose their colour quickly and fade to a horrible grey black. I took advantage of the free international shipping offer from river island over the weekend and ordered myself two more pairs of these.

This outfit will definitely be a favourite of mine through winter. I like layering as when the weather turns during the you can add or take from the outfit until you're comfortable. Although I dress for comfortI do still like to look nice. This jacket / jumper combo hits the stylish-yet-comfortable nail on the head for me.

HELLO & WELCOME.

This is me. I'm camera shy and tend to pull funny faces in front of them.

Hello and welcome to the official first post of arrceebee. I thought it would be best to start by introducing myself by answering for five W's. I'll introduce my personal style and beauty in the next few posts. But here is an idea of 'me'.

Who?
My names Rebecca Brittle. I'm twenty-two and currently in my final year of university. I'll graduate at the end of this year with a Bachelors Degree in Tourism and Event Management. I absolutely love anything to do with food - growing, cooking, baking, and eating it. I have an addictive personality, and find myself getting head-over-heels addicted to things really really quickly.

What?
This blog is a documentation of my daily life. I've never been motivated to document my life by writing in a journal, but I do love to take photographs as a way to document and share what I'm up do. I see this blog as a platform for me to share my ideas, inspirations and life with others.

When?
arrceebee is the sound equivalent of the letters that make up my initials - RCB. arrceebee was officially started in June 2012.

Where?
I currently reside in the City of Churches, Adelaide, Australia. Adelaide has everything and it was voted Australia's most livable city. It's not too big but at the same time is growing and evolving as a city. It has an amazing market, fabulous outside mall shopping strip and within driving distance are beaches, river land, and wineries.

Why?
I hope to be able to introduce you to my life, inspiration and ideas and would doubly love to be introduced to yours.
