I wore this to work today but I really wish I'd put another layer or a scarf on as it got colder and rainier as the day went on and I was shivering like mad waiting for the tram home - t least I had gloves stashed in my handbag. I don't usually look twice at pinks or purples - I've never been much of a pink girl and the red tones just make my skin look blotchy so I generally avoid the shades, but there was just something about this t-shirt from Sportsgirl (I have it in white which you can read me gush over here) that made me want to buy it. I'm glad that I did buy it as the fit is really flattering which makes me feel more comfortable in a colour I don't usually wear. I'm still not sure about collar necklaces - they just never seem to sit right on me - but I kinda just felt like wearing this one today (you know that feeling?) and I've come around to the style a bit more. I've seen lots of lovely collar necklaces in Diva and Sportsgirl this season so will have to have another look at them! I used Matrix Deep Smoothing shampoo and conditioner, which I received in this month's Lust Have It sample box (see the review here), this morning and I'm really happy to see that it's got alot more volume in the pictures above.
Those of you in the UK must already be over the Olympics already - it's all I've been hearing about this week here so I can imagine it must be much more intense for you there - but I am really looking forward to the opening ceremony! The live coverage starts at 5:30am on Saturday morning but I think I'll wait for the later broadcast as I'm not THAT keen. Are you guys looking forward to watching it?
Yes!! I am so over it. I probably won't watch much to be honest! Bad Brit! I would prefer to move to Australia thanks! X
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely place to live - get your bum over here!
DeleteOh I wanted to go to London, but I don't because of this whole Olimpic case... :(

I can imagine the traffic would be horrible in London at the moment! At least we can watch the Olympics on TV!
DeleteCute outfit! I love that jacket :)
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, living in London right now would be so annoying, especially if you have no interest at all in the Olympics. So glad we can somewhat escape it here in Australia! haha :)

DeleteI'm sick of the Olympics and we haven't even had the opening ceremony yet... it's all that's ever on on the radio! Quite looking forward to the opening/closing ceremonies but not so much of whats in between... not a sporty girl!

Me neither. I only really want to watch the opening ceremony because I've heard the Spice Girls are going to be performing. Although I think I have my hopes up too high!
DeleteI'm quite excited about the Olympics, I'm definitely looking forward to the opening ceremony. I think I might change my opinion next week as I have to spend both weeks in London and I can imagine it's going to be a nightmare! xxx
