I fell in love with this Mink Pink dress the moment I saw it, and it's become my go-to dress when I don't know what to wear and all else fails. It was only natural that I threw it on on Christmas morning before rushing into the kitchen to peel potatoes and carrots and get all of the lunch preparations underway. I did not, however, put any suncream on, so am sporting trademark Australian sun burnt shoulders.
This year my boyfriend and I hosted Christmas lunch at our house. We kept things simple and rustic - homemade candle holders (recycled salsa jars and garden twine, viola!), plain red napkins, and garden twine to tie knifes and forks together. Paper cracker hats were mandatory (as it should be!), the turkey was cooked perfectly, thanks to extensive consultation from Jamie and Gordon, and mum's trifle (the once a year dessert) was delicious. It was a lovely relaxed day, followed by a lazy evening watching movies and sampling from a massive pile of chocolates and lollies.
Rebecca.
Love the dress.
ReplyDeleteLove that second photo. Also, that dress is adorable! X
ReplyDeleteThe cracker hats are always too big for me. This one kept falling over my eyes, haha.
